Hike with Nature Enthusiasts in Recovery

Intergroup is in the process of rescheduling a short Point Lobos Hike for all members. When the new date is selected, it will be posted here. We will meet and begin our hike at the Information Station (check Point Lobos Web Site for map).

Point Lobos State Reserve is an exceptionally beautiful California State park, and one of the top natural attractions near Carmel on the scenic Monterey Peninsula.  It has been described as one of the greatest meetings of land and sea in all of California.

There are numerous hiking trails designed to show off the beautiful vistas out to the Pacific Ocean and the interesting local flora and fauna, Point Lobos will captivate you if you enjoy being out in nature.  The trails are not difficult but may require you to navigate some steep steps.  It is a Reserve so you can look and touch but no collecting or disturbing!

All are invited to participate, so please be sure to sign up on our website slaamonterey.org. When the date has been determined, signups must be in by the week before.

The hike will be led by Don.
