SLAA Men’s 12 Step Workshop Winter 2022
“Without Challenge, There Is No Growth”
The Santa Cruz California SLAA Fellowship is offering a 14-week 12-step workshop starting January 19, 2022. Meetings will be held Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8:30 pm PST. The group is open to all who identify as men.
The 12 steps offer us a very effective and time-tested way to examine the how & why of our addictions, along with a path to uncover the underlying beliefs, choices and patterns that characterize the obsessive-compulsive nature of our addictive behaviors.
Please join us as we go through the 12 Steps of SLAA using a workbook developed by one of our members that draws upon our SLAA Basic Text, the Big Book of AA and the 12&12. For the sake of continuity, we ask that you commit to attending all meetings (barring sickness, personal emergencies, etc.). The workshop is also intended to serve as a platform to build and strengthen our connections with others in the group as we work through the 12 Steps together.
To join us, please register in advance by going to: https://tinyurl.com/4v7txjut
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from Zoom providing a link to get on the meeting. We will send you a separate link to access workshop materials. Attending by video is strongly preferred, but if you don’t have a computer and/or have to attend by phone, please email us at santacruzslaa12@gmail.com and we will help you get registered. Donations for the workshop are not required but gladly accepted, and will be used to help carry the message to others.
